PIPING

Alan Warnock has been at the band longer than he will want to let you know. Alan has been a one man band and has just  returned after a few years break. His ability to teach young pipers has never been in doubt. because Alan was never taught any bad habits when he was learning. He has featured in many a winning Tullylagan band down through the years and has a wealth of experience to pass on to boys or girls who want to learn the art of piping.


Michael Nelson has followed on, in his

Late fathers footsteps. Austin was a talented piper in Tullylagan Senior  band for many years. Michael also has a lot of talent and has played in many winning bands at Tullylagan, Syerla and Field Marshal Montgomery. For many years now he has worked as a reed maker making the famous Warnock reeds.  His knowledge of setting up a pipe band is second to none and he is well qualified to teach future pipe majors in all the arts of piping.
