TULLYLAGAN BROUGHT SHOTTS & DYKEHEAD TO COOKSTOWN
Here they are live on stage

BAND NEWS

Considering that the band finished up 4th in the Ulster Championship, I find it hard to believe that I am writing this report. At the end of the season we lost five pipers to other bands and one who is now living outside NI. The Pipe Major Warren Robinson then resigned leaving the band with an increasing drum crops, but with  only  FOUR pipers from last year. The only option for the band was to seek down grading to Grade 4 A. The drum crops were not however prepared to do this and as a result Leading drummer David Brown and most of the drum crops have moved to Finvoy Pipe Band who have been promoted to grade 2 having won the world grade 3A title last year.

Alan Warnock has been appointed Pipe Major and he has got together some pipers who have played in the band in the past. The drum crops of mainly learner drummers is being taught by Kyle Wenlock who used to play in Queen Elisabeth. The band hopes to be down graded.

It is sad for me personally to have to write this report. Tullylagan has been part of my life for over 35 years. I am now committed to Finvoy, but I do wish Alan and Kyle and Tullylagan every success in whatever grade they play in. This is my last update sorry it has taken so long but my computer has been down. I want to thank you all for supporting this web site. It will remain online until someone else takes it over. God bless
David Brown.
